Bush's seeming lack of gumption and support for Israel is unnerving. Half of me wants to believe that he'll pull a rabbit out of his hat, have a UN moment-like speech that changes the terms of the debate on the Palestinians, and bring us supporters of Israel to our feet cheering. The other half has this sinking feeling he's just making a half-hearted, obligatory stab at this problem, came up with one half of the solution, and has come up short with the matching piece...
